Dear Jen

Dear Worn-Out Warrior

Dear Worn-Out Warrior,

You’ve been striving so long. You’re so tired. Lay down the useless weapons you’ve been trying to use to fight this battle and rest. Take care of yourself. You’re no good to anyone when you’re living as a shadow of yourself. Yes, God cares about all you have to do and who you need to do it for, but he also cares about you. God doesn’t call us to be an unrelenting zombie, plodding through life as an exhausted version of ourselves. He calls us to nourish our minds, bodies, and souls. You know this pace is not sustainable. You weren’t created to go at this speed. Slow down and listen to yourself, listen to God. How is he calling you to rest?  When we are healthy we can give to others. What do you need to stop doing, or start doing to take care of yourself? What do you need to say no to or yes to? Do that thing. You owe it to yourself. Doing what you need to do to find rest doesn’t make you weak. It makes you strong. When you’re strong, you’ll be able to run again, with the right weapons, the weapons that can fight your battle in a healthy way. You’re worth it, warrior. Don’t stop fighting, just start fighting for yourself.

Love,

Jen

      Hi Gino,
I’m sorry for the delay. I got quite overwhelmed this spring with all the challenges that came with teaching during COVID. Thank you so much for your comment. God has given us amazing dreams, and it’s so hard when they don’t work out the way we want them to. I hope you find some encouragement here, and if nothing else, know you are not alone in your journey.

    Dear Jenna,
I have been I thought for a week about this segment of your page. Today, I made a choice. One that would being change and God glory in the days to come.
I am reminded of how easy the elemental things of this world can persuade you and divide u from Gods love and mercy. Yet, He reminds us in “Matthew 28:20” that he is always with us.
It’s so easy to become anxious or to build a desire for something outside his will, which in return we fall short and one becomes alienated from his will. I have to keep reminded myself not to be anxious for anything “Phillipians4.6”.
What’s good about Inspiration is it is always a healing and motive factor for us it seems. Thanks for Sharing
    P.S. This Warrior has awaken
